About

ProVEST (Professionalisation of Teachers and Mentors in Vocational Education to Realise Powerful Transformative Learning Environments for a Sustainable Transition) is an Erasmus+ project that brings together 23 partners from five countries to address the urgent need for Vocational Education and Training (VET) to contribute meaningfully to Europe’s sustainable transition.

ProVEST aims to empower VET educators and mentors with the tools, skills, and confidence to lead the green and digital transitions, ensuring they are equipped to prepare students for the skills demanded by the European Green Deal and the evolving workforce.

  • Empowering VET educators to lead the green and digital transitions
  • Creating stronger connections between schools and industry
  • Fostering innovative learning environments that focus on student agency and inclusivity
  • Delivering a European approach to VET excellence through collaboration and shared knowledge

ProVEST fosters collaboration by creating extended teams that connect VET institutions and industry partners to design and test Powerful Transformative Learning Environments (PTLEs). These PTLEs integrate advanced teaching technologies with a focus on sustainability and digital competence, offering students authentic, personalised, and inclusive learning that prepares them for the green and digital transitions.

A standout feature of ProVEST is its cross-national masterclass, which provides a unique platform for educators and mentors to co-develop their skills. Combining theoretical insights with practical applications, the masterclass is tailored to diverse linguistic, cultural, and educational contexts contexts, ensuring relevance and adaptability while promoting the exchange of best practices across Europe.

At the heart of ProVEST is the collaboration between VET institutions, industry partners, educators, and students. By strengthening these relationships, ProVEST ensures that VET education not only addresses the skills mismatch but also contributes to building a sustainable and inclusive future for all learners.
